Plant Finance Controller role in Shah Alam

About the company
This is a well-known Consumer Product (FMCG) company with an established presence in the market for decades. They are a MNC with manufacturing plants in Malaysia. There has been changes and internal reorganisation internally which resulted in the opening of a Plant Finance Controlling vacancy to be based at Shah Alam.

Key responsibilities
This is a sole contributor role that will manage the performance and operations of the factory from a Finance standpoint such as adhering to budgets, standards and processes. You will also manage the factory's P&L and Balance Sheet, CAPEX, costing and cashflow. This role will play an active business partnering role with the Manufacturing and Operations team where you will also provide financial analysis, manage risks and ensuring adequacy of internal controls.

Skill and experience required
This role requires applicants to have 5-10 years experience in a progressive and relevant role. You will need at least a Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualification. It is crucial to have experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry for at least a few years and exposure to plant finance to excel in this role. Candidates will also need to have strong communication skill and an analytical mindset for this role.
