Plant Controller role for Manufacturing MNC in JB

About the Company
This is a MNC in the Manufacturing industry based in Johor Bahru (JB) with an established presence globally. They have a wide range of products which are well-known in the market amongst consumers and businesses for decades. There has been some changes in the team recently and they are now looking for a Plant Controller to join them.

Key Responsibilities
This position will manage a lean team and report to the Regional Head of Department. Your role will cover:

• Managing the overal Plant Finance and Plant Controlling for Malaysia
• Business partnering with the Manufacturing, Operations and Logistics team
• Driving cost-savings initiatives and maximising production capacity
• Costing
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Ensuring compliance to internal control framework

Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 12 years experience in a progressive career relevant to this scope and at least a Degree in Finance, Accounting or membership with professional bodies such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA. You will also need to have strong experience in Plant Finance/Plant Controlling ideally in MNCs. Candidates who are well-spoken with strong communication skill with the ability to manage stakeholders are encouraged to apply.
