Manager, Equities/Fixed Income Operations (Shift)

Our Client

A leading investment firm is seeking an Operations Manager to support the fixed income and equities team in trade lifecycle and operations.

About the Role

• Timely booking of trades executed by portfolio managers and traders across asset classes such fixed income, equities and FX etc
• Handle trade lifecycle events including but not limited to confirmations, settlements, corporate actions/maturities/expiries/fixings of the portfolio positions
• Perform reconciliations of trade and positions between internal systems, broker statements and fund administrator system
• Generate reporting to internal stakeholders such as front office and management
• Timely response and resolution to queries from internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accountancy, banking or relevant discipline(s)
• Minimum 5 years' operations experience preferably in the investment banking field
• Strong records in managing end-to-end trade lifecycle in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work on rotational shifts and back up for afternoon and night shifts
• Good knowledge in technical skills such as MS Excel VBA will be a plus
