Operations Director

Our client is a global semiconductor company. Due to their rapidly expanding global footprint, they are currently seeking an Operations Director.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization, focusing on lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignment and achievement of business objectives.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive actionable insights.
• Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability within the operations department.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and achieving operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic plans to meet business objectives and drive growth.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.
