Operational Risk

We are parterning with a leading MNC financial services provider who has a very established presence in Malaysia. As part of their continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Operational Risk Manager to join the Risk Management team.

This role is ideal for professionals with a background in insurance or banking who are passionate about managing risk and strengthening business resilience.

What You'll Do

• Support the implementation and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management Framework across the company.

• Work with business units to identify, assess, and manage operational risks.

• Lead and facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and related activities.

• Monitor and investigate operational incidents and ensure appropriate actions are taken.

• Prepare risk reports and updates for senior management and risk committees.

• Assist in business continuity planning and crisis management coordination.

• Promote a strong risk culture through training, communication, and engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk, ideally in insurance or banking.

• Strong understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and incident management.

• Familiarity with local regulatory requirements.
