Operation Manager (PJ)

This global industrial chemical MNC is looking to hire a capable Operation Manager who is a self-starter and is independent. This person will need to have had extensive experience in inventory and warehouse management and be overseeing the ESH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing local operations, supply, logistics and distribution within the company
• Will be responsible for the operations across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia
• Setting the strategy and direction for the Operations department for growth and operational efficiency
• Reviewing and authorising transactions, payments, purchases and contractual obligations within company policies
• Ensuring that sites operate within the best standard practices of Health, Safety and Environment compliances

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum to be holding a degree in either Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role and has lead at least 10 subordinates under them
• Must have hands on experience and a background in industrial chemicals and logistics
• Ability to lead a team and be entrepreneurial, adaptable to thinking outside the box and fluid business demands
• Have a general understanding of legal framework and business law of MY, SG and Indonesia especially in the industrial health & Safety space
