Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
Our Client is a globally renowned Global Business Services that are a top leader in its respective industry that prides themselves on fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture that values teamwork, integrity, and professional growth. They are currently hiring for a multiple positions which includes - General Ledger Analyst (GL/RTR)
You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting activities, spanning General Ledger (GL), statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance. This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to partner with stakeholders across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handle GL accounting duties, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations for Asia Business Units within the GBS Asia hub.
 * Prepare and process accounting data, including tax computations for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring timely reporting to both local entities and headquarters.
 * Oversee tax compliance activities - maintain tax calendars, prepare/review/submit corporate income tax and indirect tax (VAT/GST) filings, WHT submissions, and perform tax reconciliations. Collaborate closely with country finance teams, regional tax partners, and external advisors.
 * Ensure all entries and reporting adhere to corporate finance policies, internal control requirements, IFRS, and relevant statutory standards.
 * Support statutory and internal audit cycles - including documentation, reconciliations, and communication with auditors.
 * Drive process improvements and participate in regional initiatives and projects, completing deliverables independently or in collaboration with the team.
Requirements
* Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in general accounting, ideally in a multinational or shared services environment with regional scope
 * Solid foundation in statutory reporting, with a degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
 * Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset; proactive, self-driven, and able to work with cross-border teams
 * Excellent communication skills in English is a must. Proficiency in other Asian languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese) is an added asset
