Job description:

  • Develop Strategic Marketing Plans: Devise comprehensive strategies to reach annual sales targets, focusing on segmentation and product-specific goals. Continuously monitor market trends and consumer behavior to refine strategies accordingly.
  • Budget Management: Ensure effective utilization of marketing budgets to support various marketing activities while maintaining fiscal responsibility and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Sales Optimization: Implement solutions-focused approaches to optimize sales performance, driving continuous business improvement initiatives. Develop and execute relevant strategies to enhance the marketing mix, ultimately contributing to achieving annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee negotiations and maintain relationships with third-party service providers to ensure cost-effective execution of marketing and advertising strategies within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Proactively identify opportunities for sales growth and new product trends. Implement best practices in marketing management to capitalize on these opportunities effectively.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with corporate teams on new product development initiatives, managing projects to enhance the company's new product pipeline and future gross margin capabilities.
  • Market Education Initiatives: Lead the execution of market nutrition education plans across sales channels, product advisors, and consumer supply chain strategies in both local and international markets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the marketing, brand communication, and customer care teams by providing direction, guidance, and support. Ensure that team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Act as a coach and mentor to team members, providing ongoing feedback, support, and development opportunities. Encourage professional growth and skill enhancement through constructive coaching and mentoring relationships.
  • Problem-Solving and Advising: Share expertise and insights to assist team members in problem-solving and decision-making processes. Provide advice and guidance on best practices and innovative solutions to overcome challenges and drive success.
  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of each team member against key performance indicators and objectives. Provide constructive feedback and recognition to encourage continuous improvement and achievement of goals.
  • Training and Career Development: Ensure that adequate training and career development opportunities are available to team members. Identify training needs and proactively support the development of skills and competencies required for individual and team success.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Bachelor Degree either in; Nutrition, Pharmacist, Biochemistry, Food Science, Dietician, Marketing or business management
  • Experience in OTC and pharmacy channel marketing environment are highly preferred.
  • Marketing, trade marketing and digital marketing
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in managing or leading a marketing, new product development or sales department.
