Manufacturing Manager (Sarawak)

A large FMCG MNC is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead Plant Operations to achieve Effective Operations at Highest Quality and Lowest Production Cost. This role is based in Sarawak.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop a manufacturing plan and establish procedures to maintain high standards in manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer and consumer satisfaction.
• Oversee budgeting and budget execution, focusing on product costs and margins.
• Ensure succession planning is in place for key positions.
• Foster a culture of openness and trust to achieve the highest product quality, maximum efficiency (OEE), and lowest cost.
• Facilitate cross-support and sharing of best practices among business units.
• Drive sustainability development.
• Improve technical services product and packaging costs.
• Create a competency development plan/matrix (strategy and concept) for medium/long-term people development.
• Lead a culture of continuous operational excellence within the operation team

Key requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years working experiences in Engineering/manufacturing environment/projects management/Quality System
• Good interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Leadership skills/ Build Teamwork
• Good training and coaching skills
• Analytical skill / Systematic thinking / Decision making
