Manager FP&A

Job Description:

• Manage the financial planning process, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting. Review the reasonableness of assumptions used for projections and business cases.
• Ensure the accuracy of monthly management reports and presentation materials for senior management, regional office, board, and board committees.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, identifying significant deviations and recommending corrective actions for improvement.
• Understand and analyze key drivers to validate forecasts, supporting data-driven decisions and strategies for business functions.
• Implement relevant metrics to monitor performance against forecasts and plans, aligning with corporate strategies and targets.
• Conduct regular expense analysis and collaborate with the actuarial team to update expense methodology, including support for IFRS 17 attributable expenses analysis.
• Support Finance Initiatives, including benchmarking studies, the stabilization of IFRS 9/17 month-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, etc.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with audit experience.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a valuable advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
