The company works closely with commercial, industrial, and government clients to deliver end-to-end clean energy solutions that drive cost savings and sustainability outcomes.
They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth across key market segments. This role will focus on expanding the company's solar project pipeline, building strong client relationships, and leading a team to achieve ambitious sales and business development targets.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive solar project sales and achieve revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and utility-scale segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and partners.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and project award.
Lead and mentor a team of sales or business development professionals to achieve performance targets.
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, project, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and budgets to ensure accurate business planning.
Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, with a strong focus on B2B sales.
At least 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Proven track record in business development and closing solar or energy-related projects.
Strong understanding of solar EPC, project development, and commercial structures is advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Self-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
