Job Description: You will be based in Malaysia and serve clients not only locally but also across other markets covered by Asia Actuarial Services. Responsibilities include managing small engagement teams conducting actuarial audits for life insurance and family Takaful companies based on Malaysia RBC and MFRS17 standards. Additionally, you will handle engagements related to pricing, risk and capital management, mergers and acquisitions, and modeling in the life insurance sector.

- Demonstrate strong actuarial technical skills, effectively apply professional standards and firm policies, and stay updated on industry regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables within expected timelines, monitoring progress, managing risks, and maintaining stakeholder communication.
- Lead and motivate diverse teams, provide constructive feedback, and support team development through coaching and mentoring.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, presentation, client relationship management, and collaboration with teams to meet client needs.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial, risk management, or related fields.
- University degree in actuarial sciences or equivalent.
- Progress towards or completion of actuarial exams.
- Familiarity with Malaysia statutory valuation & RBC, and IFRS17.
- Advantageous to have knowledge in financial reporting, capital management, ERM, Market Consistent Embedded Value, Economic Capital, Solvency II, actuarial software (e.g., Prophet), and Family Takaful.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
