Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a rapidly expanding Electronics company in Johor Bahru. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Process Development Engineer to add value to their I4.0 Automation & Digitalization efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize state-of-the-art processes for maximum production capacity and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors to devise new automation strategies enhancing productivity.
• Support product development by integrating new processes and technologies into production.
• Coordinate engineering projects and monitor progress.
• Ensure new processes meet productivity and quality standards.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Document new processes and provide support for work instructions.
• Oversee handover of new processes to production departments.
• Enforce safety and environmental protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Engineering degree (Mechatronic/Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation/Mechanical).
• 2-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Project management skills desirable.
• Basic PLC and Pneumatics knowledge advantageous.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW and PDCA/DMAIC concepts a plus.
• Fresh graduates with the relevant discipline/degree are welcome to apply.
