Maintenance Engineer

Job description

My client is a global building material manufacturing company. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to lead the maintenance team for one of their plants, based in Ipoh.

Job Description

  • Ensure overall factory maintenance works are carried out efficiently for uninterrupted operations.
  • Define strategy for equipment maintenance, come out with innovative and effective solutions for continuous improvement in equipment reliability, safety and sustainability.
  • Work on plant innovation projects related to maintenance, alongside other functions.
  • Coach and train fitters/ technicians to upskill troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical/electronic or mechanical
  • 4 - 8 years' experience in maintenance works in the heavy manufacturing/ building materials manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting with good problem-solving capabilities.
