Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

• Execute various IT Infra Projects and operational tasks with a focus on Cloud, Virtualization (OpenStack, VMware, RHV), Container Platforms, OS, DB, Storages, and Backup technologies.
• Collaborate in planning, managing, and operating IT infrastructure processes and technologies, working closely with Information Security, Operation, Application, and other Infrastructure architects.
• Engage with product principals/OEM partners for technical advice and best practices.
• Provide support to peers in operational activities, conduct knowledge transfer, and take on assigned tasks from superiors.
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with IT and Security Policies for all Platform assets and configurations.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex issues, collaborate on incident and problem management, and work with partners for RCA and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with automation teams to enhance operation efficiency.
• Oversee Inventory Management for the overall Infrastructure, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.

Qualifications:

• Degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Strong technical expertise in Complex IT infrastructure, including different Hypervisor and containerization platforms, Windows, Linux, Ansible, SAN & Ceph storage, Backup, and System Monitoring Tools.
• Good knowledge of various IT domains such as ITIL processes, Network, Data Center, Database, Middleware, Security, and Asset Management.
• 1-2 years of experience in Infrastructure Planning, Infrastructure Architecture, or similar roles.
• 2-4 years of operational experience and implementation of global data center solutions with a focus on trust and security.
• Solid business knowledge with a deep understanding of domain architecture (business, information, application, technology).
