Human Resources Generalist

Role Summary:

The HR Generalist will partner with stakeholders across APAC to implement people strategies, support employee relations, talent acquisition, performance, and engagement initiatives. The role plays a key part in shaping a positive employee experience and supporting HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Advise and collaborate with leaders to align people strategy with business goals.

  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee-related issues and ensure compliance with employment laws.

  • Talent Acquisition: Work with the TA team to support recruitment and onboarding processes.

  • Talent Management & Development: Support performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives.

  • Change Management: Contribute to the implementation of transformation initiatives within the region.

  • People Programs: Roll out regional programs including Wellness, DEI, ESG, and Reward and Recognition.

  • HR Operations: Work with centralized HR Ops to ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS processes.

  • Benefits Administration: Manage regional benefits and vendor relationships, including renewals and communications.

  • Absence Management: Guide managers and employees through leave processes including long-term and parental leaves.

  • Annual Cycles: Assist with performance and compensation reviews, calibration, and succession planning.

  • Projects: Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives driven by the global People leadership team.

  • Compliance: Stay updated on employment laws across APAC and ensure organizational adherence.

  • HR Insights: Monitor HR trends and provide recommendations to enhance effectiveness.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline.

  • 7-10 years of HR Generalist experience in a regional or global setting.

  • Strong experience in employee relations and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Strong business acumen and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and project management.

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

  • Able to navigate sensitive conversations and adapt in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of employment regulations across APAC.

  • Strong coaching capabilities and ability to challenge constructively.

  • Broad understanding of HR functions including engagement, talent development, and benefits.
