Human Resource Manager / Payroll HR Team Lead - SSC

Our client are one of the World's leading brands with an established shared service centre in Malaysia. Based in Petaling Jaya, they are currently looking for a HR Team lead / Manager to lead the HR team on end-to-end HR task (L&D, payrolling, data maintenance)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting key stakeholders and line managers in the group, working in partnership to attract, onboard and retain the best talent
  • Take charge of internal payrolling activities
  • Manage the company's policy and procedures handbook, and ensure adherence by all employees
  • Oversight of compensation and benefits, conducting annual salary reviews and maintaining headcount budget
  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assign operational tasks to team members appropriately according to working level's Key Performance Indicators metrics, constantly evaluate and communicate expectations to team member
  • Develop staff capability, knowledge, skills and understanding of the Division HR operations and business needs
  • Manage team member's poor performance and behaviour effectively. Provide clear, timely and constructive feedback.

Key skills & experience:

  • Experienced HR practitioner, ideally with any relevant degree
  • 8+ years' experience within human resources, required to had a proven track record as a people lead / manager
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, hands on and a positive attitude are essential
  • Experience working in a large captive shared services centre would be an advantage
