HR Specialist, Malaysia (12 months contract)

Job description

Our client is a global market leader in the consumer goods industry and are looking for a HR Specialist to lead and manage for HR functions in Malaysia. This role will be a combination of strategic and operational role in the full spectrum of HR. This role was previously managed by a regional team and they are creating a new position to be based in Malaysia as part of their transformation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end of HR including recruitment, talent development, compensation & benefits, learning & development and employee engagement (payroll is outsourced)
  • Building core talent management programs such as talent review, performance management and succession planning framework for hi-potential individuals
  • Partnering with global HR teams, commercial HR teams and respective stakeholders in Malaysia

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant HR experience
  • Sound knowledge in HR policies and practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
  • MNC experience is preferred
