Head of Technical Service

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Technical Service (TS) operations across 11 Asian markets, ensuring alignment with commercial teams and corporate standards.

  • Own and manage the TS P&L, capital planning, and cost controls across the region.

  • Drive sales growth in digital solutions and technical services, with accountability for >$2.5M in revenue.

  • Identify service opportunities in a large installed base and develop go-to-market strategies.

  • Oversee field service teams, repair centers, and service distributors to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing/commercial teams to deliver service excellence and meet sales targets.

  • Develop service offerings, pricing strategies, marketing collateral, and training programs for internal teams and distributors.

  • Monitor KPIs, enhance TS productivity, and continuously improve planning and customer support processes.

  • Ensure inventory optimization for spare parts and service components.

  • Promote compliance with EHS, QA, ISO, UL, and support product upgrades and field actions.

  • Contribute to the Technical Service and Greater Asia Leadership Teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering or related field preferred).

  • 15+ years' experience in multinational medical devices, including TS or service leadership roles.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and cost controls.

  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record in commercial and technical leadership.

  • Experience in managing service organizations and electromechanical medical devices is a plus.
