Head of Supply Chain (APAC)

The Head of Supply Chain (APAC) will lead the supply chain setup for a new HVAC manufacturing plant and build the local supply chain team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute regional supply chain strategies aligned with business goals while working closely with commercial, manufacturing, and regulatory teams across APAC.

• Oversee strategic procurement and sourcing in line with global guidelines, managing suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage international logistics, transportation, and distribution for complex projects across the region, ensuring compliance with trade, customs, and safety requirements.

• Establish and track supply chain KPIs, providing data-driven insights and driving the adoption of systems and digital tools to improve visibility and decision-making.

• Build and lead the local supply chain team, manage supply chain risks, and ensure seamless integration with the wider regional supply chain network.

Requirements

• Extensive years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within HVAC, machinery & equipment or sheet metal manufacturing.

• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management, with exposure to regional or global HQ collaboration.

• Solid understanding of S&OP and practical experience using SAP and supply chain systems.

• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with good knowledge of APAC trade and logistics.

• Prior experience setting up and leading a supply chain team in a greenfield operation would be a strong advantage.
