Head of Strategy & Corporate Planning

A leading public infrastructure provider is looking for a high calibre Head of Strategy & Corporate Planning to lead, orchestrate and drive the strategic development, execution, and continuous refinement of the company's corporate strategy, enterprise performance management, innovation, and sustainability agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-quality business strategies and plans that align with both short-term and long-term objectives
• Lead the formulation and implementation of the company's long-term strategic plan
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and performance targets
• Align corporate strategy with national, bilateral, and regional development priorities
• Design and oversee the enterprise performance management framework
• Monitor and report on corporate KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Drive a performance-driven culture across the organization
• Champion innovation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and value creation
• Integrate sustainability into the core business strategy, ensuring ESG compliance and impact
• Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and business models
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and shareholders.
• Ensure strategic alignment across business units and functions.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Board and Executive Leadership

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Economics or similar field of study
• MBA is highly preferred
• Minimum ten years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or management consulting
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional strategic initiatives in complex, regulated environments
• Strong understanding of bilateral and cross-border regulatory frameworks
• Experience in performance management, innovation, and sustainability integration
• Possess strong business acumen, influential, operations process driven and focused on driving operations excellence
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• Capable of resolving conflicts, demonstrating visionary leadership, and possessing the foresight to strategically plan for the business's future
