Head of Project Sales

Job description

Heading/intro:

Our client is a homegrown building materials company. Due to expansion, they are actively seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the sales team through this next phase of growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ad implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the government and private sector, including contractors, developers and distributors across Malaysia.
  • Collaborate with other functions including R&D and project sales team to achieve company targets.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • 8 - 10 years of sales experience within the building materials industry in Malaysia.
  • Experienced in directly managing a team of 5 -10.
  • Bachelors Degree in any field.
  • Strong network within the building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to do business presentation and contract negotiations.
