Head of Program Management

Job description

Our client, a fast-growing semiconductor company in Malaysia, is hiring a senior leader to head the PMO-driving program execution, strategic alignment, and NPI success across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the PMO team to drive strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs across operations, engineering, and supply chain.

  • Establish and optimize PMO governance, aligning project execution with business priorities.
  • Oversee NPI from concept to mass production, ensuring clear communication with internal teams and global customers.
  • Manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery with accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Ops on program budgeting, and lead customer reviews to ensure expectations are met.
  • Promote continuous improvement, supplier engagement for technology readiness, and PMO best practices.
  • Mentor, hire, and develop a high-performing PMO team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Science; MBA a plus.
  • 15+ years in manufacturing, with 10+ in program/project management.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programs.
  • Strong in NPI, stakeholder, and customer engagement.
  • Experienced in balancing priorities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Excellent in communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
