Head of Operations

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer undergoing significant transformation and growth in its Southeast Asia operations. The business is investing in scaling operational capabilities and workforce readiness to support long-term strategic objectives across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site-wide transformation efforts across operations, supply chain, engineering, and support functions.
• Drive talent and organizational development initiatives aligned with evolving business needs.
• Oversee execution of major scale-up programs, transfers, and capability shifts.
• Ensure alignment with quality, safety, and compliance standards while promoting cultural change.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive operational excellence across all areas.
• Act as a central liaison for planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.
• Senior leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on exposure to cross-functional transformation, ramp-ups, or transfers.
• Solid P&L acumen and strategic execution capability.
• Strong people leadership and cultural adaptability.
• Proficient in English and Malay; other languages a plus.
• Background in electronics or similar industrial sectors preferred.
