Head of Merchandising/Buying (Fashion)

This established fashion retail MNC based in PJ is looking to hire an experienced Head of Merchandising/Buying for their team. This person must preferably have experience with multiple brands and have strong knowledge in the buying function in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mainly representing the buying function of all the relevant categories
• Attending all selection of product appointments, product launches and trade shoes
• Negotiation with brands for trading terms and budgeting
• Be able to analysis and review weekly sales with the department and propose actions for the week ahead

Skills & Experience Required:

• Must have at least 7-10 years of relevant work experience within the Fashion industry (preferably sportswear) and have solid experience in merchandising & buying
• Fully literate in Microsoft office: Powerpoint, word and Excel
• Must have had at least 5 years of experience in leading a team
