Group Leader Operations

This renowned 4PL MNC based in Selangor is looking to add an experienced Group Leader Operations to the company. This person must be able to lead a team while understanding the gaps and how to improve the processes. Will be responsible in the day-to-day operations of the department and ensure the efficiency of movement of goods while providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervising & leading a team of forwarding specialists while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
• Operations Management: Overseeing the end to end forwarding process (documentation, shipping, customs clearance) and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely processing of shipments
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying the gaps and making efficiency enhancements an process improvements

Skills & Experience Required:

• Has 5-7 years of experience minimum in the freight forwarding industry and has leadership experience
• Holding a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant
• Proficiency in all forms of freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Land, Rail, CEP) and a good understanding of international trade and shipping regulations
• Strong team leadership properties
