Group Finance - Assistant Manager

We are currently recruiting for a well-known and rapidly expanding healthcare in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of group finance matters. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, based in Subang Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize consolidated financial reports for a sub-group and provide support on reconciliations.
• Communicate and coordinate with local finance team for finalization of financial reports and relevant inputs.
• Actively involve in preparation of holding company's group reporting packs.
• Ensure that group reporting templates are up to date and streamlined whenever necessary.
• Responsible for review of financial reports submitted by local finance team, analysing the finance results and highlight any fluctuations/discrepancies.
• Assist in forecast and budgeting activities.
• Provide support in the event of any implementation/migration of financial tools or system.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
• Possess strong critical thinking, people management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
