Financial Controller role for listed company in Selangor

About our Client

This company is a public listed company in Selangor in the Life Science industry. They pride themselves with having a great working culture within a multicultural close-knitted team. Due to recent changes in the Finance team, they are looking for a Financial Controller to join them.

Key Responsibilities

This Financial Controller will manage the Finance team and oversee the overall Finance Operations. You will also handle:

• Group Financial Reporting and Consolidation
• Ensure compliance to Bursa Listing Requirements and other regulatory framework
• Monthly and quarterly reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board
• Support the Board and Senior Leadership Team on Finance matters
• Stakeholder management

Skill and Experience Required

To be shortlisted for this role, you will need 10-15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting in a progressive role with at least 3 years of experience working in a PLC. You will ideally have a professional qualification or at least a member of MIA. Candidates with Big 4 Audit or Life Science industry experience with strong technical skillset preferred.
