About our client:

Our client is a manufacturing MNC with global presence in the market. They are currently expanding their operations in several states in Malaysia are looking for a seasoned management accounting professionals with project experience to join them as a Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for timely & accurate financial reporting, management reporting

-Business analysis, systems management, compliance with tax & other legislation

-Collaborate with Business managers/controllers in budgeting/forecasting on a monthly and yearly basis, providing budget reports to management to assist in accurate decision making,

-Extensive knowledge in variance analysis (budget vs actual), providing inputs and recommendations for respective business unit on hitting the budget

-Controller in budget and spending, overseeing accounts payable transactions

-Person is charge to liaise with auditors, regulators for audit, tax, or government related bodies

Requirements:

-Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent

-CIMA Holders will have a significant advantage

-Fluent in English

-At least 10 years of working experience in the related field, experience in a manufacturing field will be an added advantage

-Versatile, problem solver with great stakeholder management

-Able to be actively involved in the business operations & decision making process

-Candidates must be mobile and willing to be based in different states on a long term basis
