Finance Manager (Based in Cheras)

About Our Client:
This is a well-known and actively expanding company in the retail industry in Malaysia, whom we are working closely with to identify experienced Finance Manager talents, to lead the finance team and be a business partner to the management, while also overseeing full spectrum of finance. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Director, based in Cheras.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of financial and management reporting.
• Oversee and hands-on in month end closing activities and provide guidance/mentorship to team members as and when necessary.
• In charge of implementation of e-invoicing system and tax related submissions.
• Perform financial analysis, forecast and budgeting to support management's decision making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in not only finance & accounting processes and other functional areas.
• Manage and coordinate yearly audit and tax submissions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in an audit firm and with people management experience.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
