Finance Manager

About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Malaysian-based group with diversified business interests across multiple industries, including trading, manufacturing, and distribution. With a growing regional footprint, the organisation is known for its entrepreneurial culture and strong execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full set of accounts, including general ledger, AP/AR, and month-end closing processes
• Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/MFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes
• Lead and mentor the finance team, driving performance and development
• Support business expansion, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent
• 6-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance
• Experience in group consolidation and multi-entity environments is an advantage
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
