Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a well-known and actively expanding company in the retail industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager, who will be responsible in overseeing full spectrum of finance and managing a team. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Director, based in Cheras.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of financial and management reporting.
• Oversee and hands-on in month end closing activities and provide guidance/mentorship to team members as and when necessary.
• In charge of implementation of e-invoicing system and tax related submissions.
• Perform financial analysis, forecast and budgeting to support management's decision making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in not only finance & accounting processes and other functional areas.
• Manage and coordinate yearly audit and tax submissions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in an audit firm and with people management experience.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
