We are currently recruiting for a multinational and actively expanding company in the retail industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Finance Executive, who will be responsible full set of accounts for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Assistant Finance Manager, based in KL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set of accounts which includes AR, AP and GL scopes.
• Perform month end closing activities, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in not only finance & accounting processes and other functional areas.
• Active participation in yearly audit and tax submissions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial reporting experience, career foundation in an audit firm would be an added advantage.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
