Fiber Operations Engineer

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for fiber operations and Fault management nationwide for timely fault resolution.
• Manage partners/vendors on network outages or faults.
• Drive stable network and service availability of fiber network within SLA through corrective maintenance and planned preventive maintenance.
• Support fiber project rollout on design review and acceptance.
• Involvement in continuous improvement plans in regards to fiber operation SOP, processes, contracts and way of working.
• Reengineering and design review with technical domains.

Job Requirement

• At least 3-8 years experience in the IT/telecommunications industry or relevant working experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a telco environment with fiber rollout and operations & maintenance
• Experience in fiber operations and maintenance will be a strong advantage.
• Experience in managing network operations and maintenance programs, especially in Permitting Transport Fiber
• Extensive experience in cellular network implementation, in the context of operation & maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders
