Project Automation Engineer

Our client is a Multinational Semiconductor manufacturer in Malacca. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Project Automation Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot control systems and instrumentation.
2. Program and resolve issues with PLCs and SCADA systems.
3. Establish and maintain a secure industrial network.
4. Contribute to facility expansion initiatives.
5. Offer operational technical support.
6. Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards.
7. Oversee supplier performance.
8. Promote interdisciplinary communication.

Skills & Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Possess at least 5 years of Controls Engineering experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Exhibit familiarity with process systems.
• Display expertise in specific PLC brands.
• Show experience in SCADA system development.
• Possess knowledge of industrial networks.
• Understand basic PID loop tuning.
• Demonstrate calibration and instrumentation skills.
• Have project management experience.
• React adeptly to problem-solving situations.
• Be proficient with PC hardware and Windows applications.
