Digital Project Manager

Job description


  • This role primarily involves overseeing and directing the delivery of numerous software development projects within a complex and demanding business environment.
  • These projects, often intricate and expansive, may entail multiple Agile teams and necessitate coordination with tasks from other projects beyond the Agile teams' purview.
  • Managing the comprehensive delivery of our company's complex system solutions using Agile Project Management is a key aspect of this role.
  • Ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects is paramount and encompasses various tasks such as defining project scope, conducting stakeholder requirements gathering, maintaining product backlog and project schedules, managing risks and issues, serving as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, handling change requests, coordinating stakeholder communications through meetings, providing project status updates, conducting team retrospectives, and documenting lessons learned for future reference.
  • Additionally, the incumbent is expected to contribute to process improvement initiatives and provide consultative support to ensure the adoption of best practices, tools, and processes within the organization.


  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Project Management, or Information Technology.
  • Experience or familiarity with Agile and waterfall project management principles.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project delivery and program support, with a particular focus on Shared Services for E-Commerce or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
  • Preferably, 3-5 years of experience in project delivery and program support roles.
  • Possession of certifications such as PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) would be advantageous.
  • Experience overseeing multifunctional project teams comprising at least 10 team members, including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel.
  • Proficiency in utilizing appropriate tools for Project Management and software testing, such as JIRA and Microsoft Project, with a demonstrable understanding of their functionalities.

    • Exhibiting strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, especially when dealing with complex requirements and deliverables.
    • Being proactive and able to act swiftly in addressing issues during sprints/daily stand-ups, while also effectively planning for future tasks and challenges.
