Development Engineer, End-of-Line

Job description

Our client in Selangor is a Multinational Semiconductor manufacturer. They are looking for an R&D End-of-line Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Development: Lead research efforts to explore and develop advanced methods and technologies related to End-of-line, Mold, Form, and Singulation processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing processes to improve yields, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • New Process Development: Conceptualize, design, and implement novel processes that drive innovation and competitiveness in the semiconductor industry.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, product designers, and quality control personnel, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and utilize this information to make informed decisions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and standards to ensure the production of high-quality semiconductor products.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of research, experiments, and results. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Training: Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing and a deep understanding of End-of-line, Mold, Form, or Singulation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools, such as JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for staying up to date with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Prior experience in research and development roles within the semiconductor industry is a plus.
