About the Role

  • To assist and provide business unit solutions to identify business difficulties through the advance data analytics method.
  • Design and execute multiple machine learning models to assist business needs and reduce uncertainty and variability in business processes.
  • Analyse data using statistical techniques and exploratory mathematic based on the scientific method.
  • Create and lead guided, multifaceted analytic studies for large volumes of data.
  • Carry out research and analytic activities utilizing various data point, both unstructured and structured.
  • Research data points, provide information based on experiment results and provide formerly undiscovered solutions to command data challenges.
  • Aim to improve the business overall by implementing procedures to identify avenues for optimization and analyse business processes.

Required Skills

  • Master or BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in data mining.
  • Broad knowledge in R, SWL, Python, and Java.
  • Great math skills and business acumen.
  • Problem-solving skills with an analytical mind.
  • Skilled in using data development platform, complete requirement analysis and ETL job development without supervision.
  • Able to converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
