A renowned financial service organisation in Malaysia, our client provides a wide range of services including wealth and asset management. Our client is looking for a Data Analyst (Data Science) to support strategic initiatives on development advancement in the aim to come up with long term sustainable solution for the business.

As a qualified Data Analyst (Data Science), the incumbent will be working with global team members to develop processes and tools to identify efficiency and effectiveness opportunities. The incumbent should be able to present to senior management, by providing clear actionable metrics and visualisation reports.

To qualify, individuals must possess the following:

• At least 3 years of experience in using SAS, Python, SQL or similar statistical coding software to build and test prediction models
• Expert in SAS programming tool. Able to employ SAS for data extraction, data manipulation and modelling purpose
• Good knowledge and understanding of a variety of model development and validation testing techniques covering risk models
• Financial or technology background/industry is highly prefered
• Local Malaysians only
