Customer Service Director
Job description
Our client is a well-established global leader in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, currently seeking a Customer Service Director to lead its customer service and program management operations in Malaysia. This leadership role is instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, driving operational excellence, and leading strategic engagements across industries such as automotive, alternative energy, aerospace & defense, industrial, and medical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for Customer Service and Program Management aligned with business goals.
- Oversee daily customer service and program operations, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, sales, supply chain) to ensure on-time delivery and superior service.
- Manage production schedules and program milestones to meet customer expectations.
- Promote continuous improvement, customer responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while strengthening relationships with global customers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, including NPS and strategic service enhancements.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related; Master's degree is an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing, with strong customer-facing leadership.
- Proven success managing strategic customers in regulated industries (e.g., medical, aerospace).
- Solid understanding of EMS operations, program transfers, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team leadership capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving, business acumen, and communication skills.
- Open to travel as needed.
