Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Take full accountability for managing the ledger, proactively pursuing all avenues to recover outstanding debts.
  • Review, reconcile, and analyze credit control reports as well as broker and customer statements to maintain accuracy.
  • Develop and sustain strong professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Identify problem areas, including overdue accounts, and implement effective solutions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain awareness of the annual business plan for the supported Underwriting Division(s) and align activities accordingly.
  • Execute intercompany transfers in compliance with established procedures and timelines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Xchanging processes related to accounting and settlements.
  • Strong background in insurance and credit control within a Financial Services environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debt recovery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
