About our client:

This company is a well-known MNC with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a cost controller to be based in Kuala Lumpur to support the senior management and work closely with their Finance team.

Your key responsibilities includes:

• Take charge of OPEX and CAPEX
• Collaborate with department heads on preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting to diverse stakeholders.
• Review financial reports to ensure proper expenditure.
• Be a process and risk champion to review business and financial operating processes
• Collaborate closely with the accounting and procurement team to ensure accurate capturing of OPEX and CAPEX costs, including the preparation of relevant entries.

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in cost controlling
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
