Cloud Platform Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure including networking, compute, data, and security in line with company policies.

  • Oversee patching and upgrades by service providers to ensure system currency.

  • Migrate on-premises workloads and applications to the cloud.

  • Apply cloud architecture best practices to support business applications.

  • Automate and orchestrate cloud operations across the organization.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and update management on cloud integration progress.

  • Monitor cloud usage and implement cost control measures.

  • Handle service and change requests to ensure timely resolution.

  • Participate in incident/problem management to identify root causes and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud environment management and administration.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

  • Proficient in administering operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

  • Familiarity with tools and platforms including Active Directory, SharePoint, Atlassian, Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, PowerShell, and Power BI.

  • Possession of relevant cloud certifications, such as:

    • Microsoft Azure Administrator

    • Administering Relational Databases on Microsoft Azure

    • Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
