Claims and Servicing Manager

Job description


  • Lead and manage a dedicated team responsible for the meticulous processing of insurance claims, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating with insured individuals, sales teams, corporate clients, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to gather comprehensive information and documentation required for claim processing.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims to verify their validity and compliance with policy terms and conditions, utilizing a keen eye for detail and analytical prowess.
  • Direct and supervise the team in executing various tasks associated with claims and servicing processes, including but not limited to policy endorsements, client updates, and the generation of accurate quotations, bills, and invoices.
  • Provide timely and courteous assistance to policyholders, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, thereby maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold meticulous record-keeping practices, ensuring that all claim-related documentation is accurately recorded and up-to-date for reference and auditing purposes.
  • Remain abreast of the latest industry regulations, trends, and best practices pertaining to claims processing and customer service, and actively contribute insights and suggestions for process improvement initiatives.


  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or insurance is preferred, demonstrating a solid educational foundation for the role.
  • Possess a minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in roles directly related to claims processing or insurance servicing within corporate, brokerage, or intermediary environments, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or team management capacity is advantageous, highlighting your ability to effectively guide and mentor team members towards achieving common goals.
  • Exhibit a strong command of insurance policies, terms, and coverage across various classes of business, with particular emphasis on areas such as Personal Accident, Employee Benefits, All Risks, and Fire, underscoring your expertise in the field.
  • Demonstrate an innate drive to challenge conventional insurance practices and drive innovation, reflecting your commitment to pushing boundaries and driving positive change within the industry.
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, enabling you to meticulously evaluate claim validity and accuracy, thereby ensuring the integrity of the claims processing workflow.
  • Showcase outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling you to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and provide superior customer service experiences.
