Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Chemist with a PhD in Chemistry and a specialized focus on rubber manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the formulation, development, and improvement of rubber compounds. This individual will play a key role in our research and development team, contributing to the enhancement of existing products and the development of new, cutting-edge rubber solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Rubber Formulation and Development:

  • Design and optimize rubber compounds for specific applications, considering performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new rubber formulations that meet or exceed customer requirements.

* Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure the consistent quality of rubber compounds during manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues related to product quality or performance.

* Research and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in rubber manufacturing.
  • Lead research initiatives to improve and innovate rubber formulations and manufacturing processes.


* Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in rubber manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement changes that enhance productivity without compromising product quality.

* Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of rubber formulations into manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate research findings, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Chemistry with a focus on rubber or polymer science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in rubber manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of rubber chemistry, compounding, and processing.
  • Proven track record in developing and optimizing rubber formulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
