Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

About this role:

A leading frieght forwarding and logistics provider is looking for passionate Business Development Managers to be part of their growing team in Malaysia.


Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a robust knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Research new sales leads within your designated territory ensuring an ongoing and robust pipeline of new opportunities.
• Identify potential new customers and the key decision makers within the organizations.
• Develop quotations and proposals to be presented to potential new customers.
• Track and record activity of new accounts, submit weekly sales reports and present at Group sales meetings.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics would be advantageous.
• At least 5 years of previous experience in a Business Development role, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and methodical approach to work.
• Effective planning and attention to detail is a must for this role
