Business Development Manager

Job description

Heading/intro:

Our client manufactures sustainable packaging solutions for industries including food and beverage, personal care & household products, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (FMCG, industrial, healthcare, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with product development and technical teams to tailor solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in Sales, ideally within the packaging industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a hunter mentality.
