Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the general insurance and device protection sectors.

    • Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

  • Business Development:

    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other industry partners.

  • Sales and Marketing:

    • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to promote general insurance products, with a focus on device protection.

    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.

    • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Current Tech Insights/Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and trends in the insurance and device protection industries.

    • Leverage this knowledge to inform business development strategies and provide innovative solutions to clients.

  • Client Management:

    • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure all business development activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the insurance industry, preferably in general insurance and device protection.

  • Strong understanding of the insurance market, products, and regulatory environment.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
