Senior Consultant, Technology
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to banking operations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities.
Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
- Document detailed and clear business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Evaluate existing banking processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized processes that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that banking processes and systems comply with all relevant laws and standards.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to implement necessary changes and updates to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Lead or contribute to projects related to system implementations, process improvements, and other business initiatives.
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Conduct risk assessments on banking processes and systems, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with risk management teams to implement risk controls and monitor their effectiveness.
- Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project objectives and requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with various banking products, services, and operations.
- Preferred domains: Wealth, Digital, Payment, Mortgage, Insurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Experience in using analytical tools and techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating findings and recommendations.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with banking software and systems is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in implementing regulatory changes within banking processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
