Job description


  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to banking operations.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities.
  2. Requirement Gathering and Documentation:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
    • Document detailed and clear business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  3. Process Improvement:

    • Evaluate existing banking processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized processes that enhance operational effectiveness.
  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that banking processes and systems comply with all relevant laws and standards.
    • Collaborate with compliance teams to implement necessary changes and updates to maintain regulatory compliance.
  5. Project Management:

    • Lead or contribute to projects related to system implementations, process improvements, and other business initiatives.
    • Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  6. Risk Assessment:

    • Conduct risk assessments on banking processes and systems, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
    • Work closely with risk management teams to implement risk controls and monitor their effectiveness.
  7. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project objectives and requirements.
    • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications.


  1. Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Familiarity with various banking products, services, and operations.
    • Preferred domains: Wealth, Digital, Payment, Mortgage, Insurance
  2. Analytical Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
    • Experience in using analytical tools and techniques to derive actionable insights.
  3. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong presentation skills for communicating findings and recommendations.
  4. Technical Proficiency:

    • Proficient in using business analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Familiarity with banking software and systems is a plus.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge:

    • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Experience in implementing regulatory changes within banking processes.
  6. Team Collaboration:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  7. Adaptability:

    • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
