The Big Data Support Lead is a key hire within the data platform support team. He/she will be managing teams of support staffs on 24/7 shifts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage 24x7 production support on data management platforms (Hadoop).
  • Able to handle issues relevant to team management and ITIL incident management.
  • Support Hadoop loading batches with Apache Nifi, Java, Unix, and OOZIE
  • Prepare automation scripts for dashboards and other reporting tools.
  • Assist team members and provide coaching to relevant users

Desired Skills:

  • Computer Science graduates (Bachelor's degree and above)
  • At least 8 years of experience in production support environment based on ITIL
  • Deep expertise in Big Data platforms (Hadoop) along with Control-M/Scheduler knowledge
  • Willing to work on morning and noon shifts.
  • Team player with substantial experience in operating within a complex global team
  • Excellent communication skills in English
